Gypsie Wicker Stephens, 83 of Langley, died in the Highlands Regional Medical Center at Prestonsburg. Mrs Stephens was born Feb. 2, 1910 at Four Mile, Ky. She was a daughter of the late Bee and Rosa Bell Hicks Wicker. Her husband, Millard Stephens, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Wilson Creek Old Regular Baptist Church at Langley for 43 years.
Surviving are two sons, Danny Stephens of Langley and Gorman Stephens of Lexington. Two daughters, Dranna Sue Justice of Prestonsburg and Carol Ann Rowland of Blue River. Two brothers, Elder Tom Wicker and Linzie Wicker, both of Mousie. Three sisters, Ellen Wallen of Kendallville, Ind., Lucy Nichols of Lima, Ohio., and Olive Tufts of Wayland. Seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 10 am, Friday at the Wilson Creek Old Regular Baptist by Regular Baptist ministers. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery at Prestonsburg. Friends may call at the Hall Funeral Home in Martin.
