Of Surrey, BC, passed away peacefully and in the comfort of his strong faith at Langley Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. Predeceased by his wife, Marie, he will be remembered by his eight children and their families and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his five brothers and sisters in The Netherlands and Canada, and his friends and church family for his positive outlook and joyful, steadfast faith. Arie was an inspiration for all those who came into contact with him. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, February 25, 2005 at Willoughby Community Christian Reformed Church (formerly First Christian Reformed Church of Langley) at 1:00 pm.
