Steel Worker 3/c U.S. Navy, Vietnam War-Seaman Cain was killed in the line of duty by small arms fire on 8-5-1967 while serving as a Fabricator with DET TAN MY, Navy Support Pact, Danang, US Navy FORV.

He is the son of Mr. Donald G. & Mrs. Marjorie {Johnson} Cain {d.1957} of Williamsfield, Illinois, and a 1963 graduate of the Knox County School System, and he enlisted with the Navy on June 30, 1966.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
