PAXTONVILLE-Mrs. Annie May Gill, 89, Paxtonville, died at 6:50 a.m. today in the Zendt Nursing Home, Richfield, where she had been a resident for 15 days.
Mrs. Gill had been in failing health for two years.
She was born Sept 21, 1889, in the Mount Pleasant Mills area, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Emma Martin Steffen. Her husband, Oliver P. Gill, died in 1974.
Mrs. Gill was a member of the Paxtonville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elwood Ettinger of Beavertown RD1; three sons, Benjamin of Paxtonville, Arthur A. of Middleburg RD1 and Glenn T. of Allentown; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Verda Hearn [widow of Frank W Copenhaver & Fred Hearn] of Avis.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Hassinger Funeral Home, Middleburg, by the Rev. Paul Crawford. Burial will be in the Paxtonville Cemetery.
