Miss Alice Maude Bowman, 60, died early Wednesday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. Fannie S. Bowman, in West Falmouth. Miss Bowman had been ill the past four years. She had spent all her life in West Falmouth except for a brief period in Brockton. She was the daughter of Joseph E. Bowman, who died in 1940. Her father was also a native of West Falmouth and had a painting and contracting business there for more than 40 years.
Miss Bowman leaves her mother; a sister, Mrs. Cyrus Doiron of West Falmouth; a brother, Henry C. Bowman of Seattle, Wash.; a nephew, Elliott A. Towers; and two nieces, Misses Dorothy and Merlaine Bowman. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Bowman home, by the Rev. John Knipchild of the Adventist church, with burial at North Falmouth cemetery.
