Mrs. Samuel McKean

Mrs. Martha Louise McKean, aged 88, died yesterday afternoon in the home of her son, Michael McKean, of Parker R. D. 4., after a short illness.
Born on July 1, 1862, at Brady's Bend, Mrs. McKean spent her life in the Boyers district. She was a daughter of Balser and Mary Grabe Urey, and the widow of Samuel McKean, who died in 1943.
Surviving are four sons, Charles McKean of Hilliards R. D. 1; Frank McKean of Butler, Joseph McKean of Sharpsville, and Michael Mckean of Parker R. D. 4; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Sterns of Sharpsville, and Mrs. Mary Wasson of Grove City; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be recieved at the Ernest Bowser Funeral home, Eau Claire, after 7 o'clock tonight.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the funeral home, with the Rev. Leslie Lyons, pastor of the Boyers Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope cemetery.

Mrs. Martha Louise McKean, aged 88, died yesterday afternoon in the home of her son, Michael McKean, of Parker R. D. 4., after a short illness.
