Elsie Mae (Logue) Walker-Hill died March 30, 2012 at the Cameron Regional Community Hospital.
Elsie was born 27 Mar 1920 in Mabel, DeKalb County, Missouri the oldest child of Charles Edwin Logue and Vera Belle Rice. She grew up in Cameron, MO and graduated from Cameron High School in May 1937. She married Glen Odus Walker 29 Dec 1940. They had two sons, Ronald Gene, and Dennis Glenn Walker of Hamilton.
Family members that preceded Elsie were husbands Glen Walker, 13 May 1972 and Clifford Lyle Hill, 24 Jul 1996; son Ronald, 21 June 2007; and sisters Leona Hobbs, Alta Mann, and Charlene Ellis.
She leaves a son, Dennis & Karen Walker of Hamilton, Patricia Walker of Stillwell, KS, Fred & Joan Hill of Stillwell, KS; grandchildren, Michelle (Gerry) Eickhoff, Angela Walker, Nesha (David) Park, Cody (Amy) Walker, Douglas (Barbara) Hill, Julie (Keith) Mangile, James Hill and Kelly (John) Stuckey; and great grandchildren, Christian & Micaela Eickhoff, Harrison & McCall Lapen, Matlyn, Murphy, Losson & Grason Park, Cash Walker, Dana & Erica Hill, Travis & Kelly McWhorter, and Jack & Beau Stuckey; sisters, LaVerla Elliott, Juanita Green, Jean Ensign, and Billie Jo Graham; many nieces and nephews and friends.
Elsie had a long wonderful life and was cherished by many. She loved and truly enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and china painting. She was a member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church and GFWC Monday Club.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 2, at 1:00 pm, the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. at the Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton, Missouri, with burial at the Highland Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
