Mrs. Rose Martin Smith, 93, widow of Steve Smith, of Townline Road, Cayuga, died at Auburn Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, December 15, 1981, after a long illness.
She was born in Fosterville, N.Y. She had spent nearly all her life in Cayuga. Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late John and Ellen Gable Martin.
Surviving are one son, Charles Bacon of Auburn; two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.; one sister Mrs. Floyd (Harriet) Chapin of Auburn; one brother Floyd Martin, also of Auburn.
Burial will be in Soule Cemetery.
