NELSONVILLE--Arthur Keplar Jr., 66, of Buckeye Road, died Tuesday afternoon at Doctors Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Nelsonville, he was the son of the late Arthur and Leah Keplar.
Mr. Keplar was a salesman and distributor for Buckeye Potato Chips for more than 30 years. He was a member of Nelsonville First Christian Church and attended Risen Redeemer Church.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of VFW Post 3467 and American Legion Glenford Dugan Post, and an honorary member of Athens Police Auxiliary.
