Harry Daniel Bishop of Bertram, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2013 at the age of 75. He was born on June 29, 1937, in Kilgore, Texas, to Oscar William Bishop and Ruby B. (Kellam) Bishop.

Harry was a 1955 graduate of William B. Travis High School in Austin, Texas, and studied Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He served in the U. S. Army 13th Ordnance Company at Ft. Bliss. After his service, he returned to Austin, where he was a lifelong resident.

He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Mary Ann (Parker) Bishop and his sister, Janis Shook.

Harry is survived by his sons, Paul Bishop and wife, Sherri, of Liberty Hill, TX; Ralph Bishop and wife, Cindy, of Frisco, TX; grandchildren Hailey Bishop, Will Bishop, and Ashlin Bishop; niece Charlsye Szymanski; nephew Stanley Dalley; and uncle, Bob Hunter and wife, Helen, of Marble Falls, TX.

The Bishop family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the many years of loving care that Harry received at Bertram Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be from 9 AM to 11 AM on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad, Leander, TX. Graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Oakwood Annex Cemetery, 1601 Comal Street, Austin, TX.
