By 1880, Edwin & Adella are recorded in Wabaunsee County in Kansas, with the additions of Blanchard, age 8, and Delbert, age 1.

Edwin remarried to Jennie M. (Martha Jane) Fauss (Faust ?) in 1883 in Wabaunsee County. (Kansas marriage index) They are recorded together in several Wabaunsee County, Kansas censuses.
