Banz, Weldon K. May 11, 1924 - August 13, 2012 Weldon K. Banz, age 88, went home to heaven on Monday, August 13, 2012 surrounded by his immediate family. Born and raised in Kansas, his entire adult life was in the Dallas/ DeSoto Texas area where he owned/ operated an Insurance Agency for 50 years. He devoted his life to serving the Lord largely through the Church of the Nazarene. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Roberta, 3 sons- Sidney, Phillip and Bruce, and 1 daughter- Kathy. His extended family included 2 daughter-in laws- Kim and Angela, 10 Grandchildren- Kim, Stephanie, Angela, Chris, Laurie, Katie, Michael, Evan, Olivia and Zachary and 8 great grandchildren. Memorial Services for Weldon will be held at Richardson Church of the Nazarene at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 19, 2012. Reception to immediately follow. Flowers should go to Richardson Church of the Na-zarene. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations in Weldon's name should be sent to Richardson Church of the Nazarene - Compassion Ministries.
