A SAD DEATH.
The Courier learned with regret on Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Almedia Trott Trucks, the young and beautiful wife of Mr. David J. Trucks, of Six Mile, which sad event occurred on Friday night of last week. She had been ill for only about two weeks and her death was a great shock to her many friends and relatives. Mrs. Trucks was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Trott, of Six Mile, and was married to Mr. D. J. Trucks on the 2nd day of December, 1892. Her remains were laid to rest at Wesley Chapel, near Six Mile, last Sunday morning, beside those of other relatives, there to sleep until the resurrection morn. A large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives followed her remains to their last resting place. To the heartbroken husband and bereaved parents, brothers and sisters, we extend our condolence in their sad hour of affliction. Peace to your soul, Medie. [Transcribed by Martin Everse]
