Arthur Kelderman, 75, of Rock Valley died Monday, August 4, at Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. G. M. dc Leeuw officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
Kelderman was born July 17, 1928, in Sioux County, the son of Arie and Wilhelmina (Beukhof) Kelderman.
He married Gertrude Hoogendoorn on August 10, 1953, near Inwood. They farmed southwest of Inwood until moving to Inwood in 1995. They moved to Rock Valley in 2001.
Survivors include his wife; four sons and their wives, Arnold and Carol of Canton, South Dakota, Mark and Donna of Ontario, Canada, Robert and Twila of Inwood and Jerry and Nikki of Rock Valley; four daughters, Kathy and Paul Altena of George, Peggy and Junior Pollema of Hull, Sue of Hull and her fiancé Sam Wisse, and Lori and Ed Koedam of Larchwood; 25 grandchildren; and four sisters, Effie Van Essen and Myrt Keizer, both of Rock Valley, Joyce and Jim Decker of Sioux Falls and Jeanette Gorter of Doon.
