Burgaw -- Mrs. Anne Brown Durham, age 79, died Thursday morning at Pender Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Durham was born Sept. 13, 1910 in Rocky Point. She was the daughter of the late W. A. and George Ennett Brown.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Burgaw Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Roy Brewton, pastor. Interment will follow at the Burgaw Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Everett L. Durham, Sr.; one daughter, Mrs. Sara D. Almond of Mount Gilead; one son, Everett L. (Bro) Durham Jr. of Burgaw; a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law; six grandsons; one brother Mr. Chauncey S. Brown and a sister, Mrs. Sara Baker, both of Goldsboro.
Mrs. Durham was a member of the Burgaw Presbyterian Church.
