On Saturday, March 23, 2013, Robert Pennington, 81, was called home by his loving Master and Saviour and joined his beloved wife Sarah, his son Gary, his great-granddaughter Haley Minor, his parents Jake and Lizzie Pennington, his sisters Jesse Dennis, Gertrude Mathis and Yuvenna Pennington, his brothers Tom, Crit Allen and Wendell Pennington.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He spent his life providing for his family as a mechanic and enjoyed his time at Myrtle Beach with his family and friends. At the age of 28, he was saved and became a member of Hore Cave Baptist Church where he recently returned.
The date of Robert's death is 3 months from his wife Sarah's passing on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, 20 years from his son Gary's passing on March 18, 1993 and 18 years from his mother Lizzie's passing on March 22, 1995.

Survivors Include

Survivors include his 5 remaining children, Ronnie Gene Pennington, Connie Gayle Robertson and her husband, Darnell, Tammy Jane Felitsky all of Horse Cave, Timothy Wayne Pennington and his wife, Margaret, of Shepherdsville and Tonya Sue Pedigo and her husband, Jimmy, of Glasgow. His 13 grandchildren, Shannon Jo Minor, Robert Bobby Vasquez, Kristy Lea Felitsky, Sarah Beth Vasquez, Shelly Ann Felitsky, Jay McMahan and his wife, Felicia, Bekka Brown and her husband, Tyler, Timmy Pennington, Jr., Shay Lynn, Lacey, Bethany Brooke, Cheyenne and Courtney Pedigo and honorary grandson, A.J. Shackleford; his 8 remaining great-grandchildren, Kaley Minor, Bailey Vasquez, Chesney Bethel, Alivia Allen, Giovanni Vasquez, Jakob Brown, Hudson McMahan and Camdyn Waggoner; his beloved brother, Jackie Pennington, of Horse Cave along with a host of his much loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Horse Cave Baptist Church, 2PM, Monday, March 25, 2013 with burial to follow at Whickerville Cemetery under the directon of Winn Funeral Home.
