James R. Lusher Dies At Residence
ELLWOOD CITY - James R. Lusher, 85, of 417 Pershing St., died in his home at 4:30 p.m. yesterday.
He was born in Rouseville, Pa. May 30, 1877, son of the late David and Margaret Forbes Lusher.
An Ellwood City resident for the past 62 years, he was a retired National Tube Company worker.
He held membership in Calvin United Presbyterian Church.
Mary O. Klee Lusher, his wife, survives him.
Also surviving are the following step children: Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Ellis of Florida, Esther Klee of Pittsburgh, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Herzog of Florida, and William L. Klee of New Castle, and a sister, Mrs. Ernest Householder of Ellwood City. Additional survivors include three step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the J. I. Porter and Son Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Services in the funeral home, Sunday at 2:30 p.m., will be conducted by Rev. Lloyd Dalbey, pastor of Calvin Church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, New Castle.
