Ivan Allman, 65, of 820 Wood St., Parkersburg, died Tuesday, April 14, 1992, at his residence. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was an iron worker with Parkersburg Local 787. He was born in Slate, a son of Mary Blanche Clegg Allman of Parkersburg, and the late Howard Burley Allman. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Thornburg Allman; four sons, Mark Allman, Rodney Joseph Allman, Bruce Wayne allman and Brian Keith Allman, all of Parkersburg; one daughter, Connie Ann Allman of Parkersburg; two brothers, Howard Blaine Allman of Parkersburg and Claude Allman of Belpre; two sisters, Buelah Somerville and Helen Moore, both of Slate; and 13 grandchildren. The funeral will be 12:30pm Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Danny McVey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery North.
