Services for Joe Edward Knight, 74, of 210 Dudley St., Smyrna, who died Friday at his home following a heart attack, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna with rev. John Joslin and Rev. Mayford Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Nicholson Cemetery in Cheatham County.
He is survived by his wife, Selma Boner Knight; five sons [...], two step-daughters [...], one sister Samthie [Samantha] Gibbs of Henrietta, Tenn., 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Knight, a native of Smith County, was retired from the Eisele & Co. of Nashville.
