Edward A. "Ed" Ediger was the son of David Heinrichs Ediger and Aganatha "Agnes" Dirksen. He married Dorothy Esther Neufeld on July 11, 1936 in Goessel, Kansas. They were the parents of four children. One son, Floyd Dale died at 10 days old. They would be together over 56 years before Dorothy's passing.

Edward A. Ediger, 83, died April 15, 1995, at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
He was born Nov. 7, 1911, at Inman, the son of David and Agnes Dirksen Ediger. He lived on a farm near Goessel and moved to Moundridge in 1951. He moved back to Goessel in 1992. He was a farmer, painter and carpenter.
He was a member of Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel.
On June 17, 1937, he married Dorothy Neufeld at Goessel. She died Dec. 29, 1992.
Survivors include: two sons, Stan, Denver, and Lee, Moundridge; a daughter, Imogene "Gene" Cole, Newton; two brothers, Jake, McPherson, and Martin, Hesston; two sisters, Sarah Regier, Buhler, and Marie Regier, Inman; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, with the Revs. Ray and Brenda Martin Hurst presiding. Burial was in the Tabor Cemetery, rural Goessel.
