A CENTENARIAN DEAD
Mrs. Harriet Armstrong Lived Long In Catawba Valley

Roanoke, Va., Dec. 19 --- Mrs. Harriet Armstrong died at her home, in Catawba Valley, Roanoke, last night, aged 100 years. She was born on February 24, 1808, and next February would have been 101 years old.
She was born within three miles of the place where she died and had spent all of her life in that neighborhood. She was a Miss Moomaw before her marriage. She is survived by three sons---D. M. Armstrong, of Roanoke, Franklin Armstrong, of Catawba, and John Armstrong, of California. The burial will take place at the Armstrong burying ground, near the home, Sunday afternoon.
