Johnny Grimsley, 68, was born to Cordell and Emogene Grimsley July 30, 1944, in Monterey. He passed away March 7, 2013, at his home in Cumberland County. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. His neice, Jaime Grimsley, will officiate.
He was a truck driver by trade and enjoyed NASCAR races, fishing and just piddling around.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cordell and Emogene Sampley Grimsley; one daughter; and a brother and sister.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept.142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
