B. Ruth O'Connor, 70, of Midland, died Friday, June 9, 1995, at her residence.
The daughter of the late Raymond and Goldie (Sweebe) Bloomfield was born Dec. 26, 1924, in Midland where she was raised and educated. On Aug. 2, 1941, Ruth married Warren O'Connor. Mr. O'Connor predeceased her Aug. 27, 1983. Ruth had been employed at McIntyre's and later worked at the Evenknit store. She was a member of the Circle of Love at Homer United Methodist Church and Studley Grange No. 1174. She was active with the committees of the State Grange.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Laurel Colegrove of Midland and Marsha (Harvey) Tessler of Harrison, N. Y.; grandchildren Brian Colegrove, Deborah Colegrove, Kristy Dunham and Erik Dunham, and great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Danielle, Christopher and Kristin.
funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 1995, from Homer United Methodist Church with the Rev. James M. Thompson officiating.
Friends may call at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
