Miriam Lord, 83, of Fort Wayne, a member of First Presbyterian Church, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at Saint Anne Home.

The Harlan, Iowa, native was a homemaker, former secretary of P.E.O. Sisterhood and involved with the American Red Cross, both Allen and Wells county chapters.

Surviving are a son, Bruce of Grabill; a daughter, Miriam Davis of Albion; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan C., and a brother, Bruce MacMurray.

Private memorial services will be held at First Presbyterian Church. There is no calling. Burial will be in Delaware, Pa.

Memorials are to the church.
