John was a laborer for Woolen Mills. Having resided the last 16 years of his life in Goshen previously living in South Bend. Member of St. John's Catholic Church of Goshen. In 1900 John was a clockmaker. In 1900 they rented a house at 1916 7th Street, Peru City, Lasalle, ILL. He also worked for Westinghouse. After John passed, Anna
resided with daughter Anabel in Waukegan IL,(Lake Co-Zion) until her death, then she was removed to Oakridge Cem. in Goshen, Ind. to be buried with John. Anna was a homemaker, they had 7 children of which 3 died either in infancy or at birth. The remaining 4 attained adulthood.

Husband & wife are buried under a pine tree, with their metal markers "buried" just above their graves. Otherwise, there is no evidence of a marked grave
