Mr. O'Dell, 71, of Alvord, died January 9 at Bridgeport Hospital.
He was born January 16, 1920, in Park Springs. He married Mary Harclerode in Lubbock on April 22, 1949.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Glen, Bradley and Andy O'Dell, all of Alvord; a daughter, Korey O'Dell Davidson of Bridgeport; two brothers, Alva O'Dell of Alvord and Jack O'Dell of Bridgeport; seven sisters: Ann Lois Knox, Garland; Dovie Rowden, Azle; Emmie Jean Gaskill, Fort Worth; Nancy Romines, Bridgeport; Rosell Loper, Bridgeport; Jo Ann Brassfield, Bridgeport; and Janice Carlino, Dallas; 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Lana Ann O'Dell and Kyra Jo O'Dell; a son, Lyndon Ray O'Dell; and a granddaughter, Jennifer O'Dell.
Pallbearers were Randy, Ricky, Jerry, David, and Jason O'Dell, Roger Gaskill, Jim Bo Gaskill, Rocky Loper and Jessie Loper.
