ASLEEP IN JESUS

Obituary of Rodney Wiggam

Rodney Wiggam, the pretty little son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wiggam, died Sunday, December 10, 1911, aged eleven months, ten days, after a short illness of pneumonia.

He leaves one sister, Pauline, also leaves his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thompson, and five* aunts, Carry, Mary, Mabel and Beulah Thompson, and also one uncle, Park Thompson.

The funeral services were conducted at New Bethel Monday, December 11.

A child has gone and hearts do ache,
He lived his life for Jesus' sake.
The home that once was filled with bliss,
The life that felt with Rodney's kiss,
Can mourn the loss forever more,
His loving soul is for the shore,
Alas, the day has come,
The angels high with trumpets
Herald a parting life
From the mortal world, A tear, a sigh,
A lasting pain for the loving ones who doth
remain.
