Fred R. Mewes, 68, Rt 1, Bone Gap, died Sunday at Rest Haven Manor, Albion.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva; sons, Kenneth and Jerry, Bone Gap, and Joe of Calhoun; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Wiley, Claremont; brothers, Raymond of Bone Gap and Harry of Kanawha, Iowa; and 15 grandchildren.
Services will be at the Zion United Methodist Church, West Salem, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Chester Haut will officiate.
