Samuel L. Bell, age 70, of Fowler Road passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Loris Hospital.
Mr. Bell was born in Horry County, a son of the late Roscoe and Lou Mae Strickland Bell. He was a gentle and caring man who loved his family, friends and all of God's creatures. Mr. Bell was a former farmer, fireman, police officer, and truck driver. He was an active and faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Kinlaw, Rev. Jimmy Floyd and Rev. Mack Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
