She was a member of the Church of Our Merciful Savior; graduate of Central High School, Class of 1948, and Tennessee State University and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She was a retired EEOC Officer of the U.S. Foreign Service Department in Washington DC. Survivors include her brother-in-law, Frank Foreman Sr.; nephews, Franklin Foreman Jr., Larry Duncan and Erich Shumake; nieces, Gaynell Coleman, Myrna Smith, Terri Williams, Mona Mahan, Maury Duncan-Booker, Aesha Duncan, Colleen Brown, Betty English, Mary Foreman, JoAnn Smith and Donna Moreno. Her memorial service will be noon Saturday at her church, 473 S. 11th St. Arrangements: A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St.
