Born in Newington, County of London, England. Emigrated to America in 1910 with her mother, father, brothers, and sister and settled in the Long Beach area of Southern California. Married Arthur James Couzens on December 10th, 1924. A mother of three children. She was also an active member of the Order of Eastern Star, and enjoyed the company of her many friends in that organization. Her wishes were to be put to her final rest by cremation. Ashes scattered at the cemetery.
