Mrs. Lillie Ann Martin Turner Stone, 75, went to be with her Lord at home on Johnston Street in Leaksville, NC after an illness of several hours. She had been a resident of this area for 59 years. She was a native of Henry County, VA.

She was a member of Spray Primitive Baptist Church in Spray, NC.

Survivors are husband William Tully Stone, two daughters Mrs. Nell Turner Kirby of Leaksville and Mrs. R G Walters of Chatham, VA and six sons John W Turner of Petersburg, FL, Morris Turner, W M Turner, Lloyd Turner and Reverend Oscar Turner, all of Leaksville and the Reverend Robert L Turner of Kannapolis, NC.

Also surviving are four sisters Mrs. E L Fuller, Miss Emma Martin and Miss Clara Martin of Axton, VA and Mrs. W F Millner of Danville, VA, four brothers C H Martin, H C Martin, C E Martin and J O Martin of Danville, 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Spray Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Roy Smith officiating.

Burial was in Overlook Cemetery in Spray.
