Funeral services were held at Antioch Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Bessmay Alfician Americah Cemetery under the direction of Coleman's Mortuary in Jasper.
A native of Newton County, she lived in Buna most of her life.
Survivors include daughters, Katie Scott of Beaumont, Linda Gilder of Houston and Pearline Jones of Buna; sons, Willis McMahon and ELbert McMahon, both of Buna; sisters, Betty Jean Smith and Lola Westbrooks, both of Los Angeles, and Lola McMahan of Buna; and brothers, Willie Boggess of California; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
