Eliza Lambourn White was the daughter of Levi and Ann Hunt Ellen Lambourn, the 8th of 10 children. She emigrated with her parents and siblings from Liverpool, England in October 1849. They settled in Evans Twp, Marshall Co, IL near Wenona. Eliza moved to California at the age of 19. She may have accompanied her older brother, Frederick William Lambourn who settled in the Los Angeles area. Eliza married George White in 1868 in San Francisco. Together, Eliza and George had three children: Emma C White Atkins (1868-1955), Frederick George (1870 - 1936), and Leslie (1885 - 1910).
NOTE: Eliza's birth year on her tombstone is incorrect. She was born in 1846. Her death certificate is also incorrect in naming her father as "Benjamin" rather than "Levi". Benjamin Lambourn was Eliza's brother.
