SAVANNAH, Mo. - Donald Ray "Don" Fergison, 79, Savannah, died Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 8, 1933, to Ceacle Clay and Birtie Jane (Harris) Fergison.
Don married Norma Joy Kurtz on December 25, 1950. She survives of the home.
He was a licensed grain dealer, worked for Dugdale Packing Company, and also farmed.Don was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Savannah, loved driving his Peterbilt semis and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack R., Dean R., and O'Neil Fergison; and sister, Darlene Malarkey.
Survivors: wife; daughters, Rodema Gnuschke (Don), Cosby, Mo. and Rhonda Jensen (Carl), Lincoln, Neb.; grandsons, Aaron Gnuschke (Tira), Jason (Nicole), Mike and Blake Von Kaenel; granddaughters, Tara Brown (Adam), Tammy Archdekin (Scott); and a great-granddaughter, Alexandria "Alex" Von Kaenel.
Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday.
