Eva K. Miller was born July 21, 1909 in Murphysboro to August and Louise Redo Koenig. Her siblings include Anna Clutts of Murphysboro, Sybil Koenig of Christopher and four brothers and four sisters who preceded her in death.

She married Jeff [sic] Miller on June 1, 1933 in Marion. He preceded her in death October 7, 1958. She leaves two sons, Raymond "Whitey" of Murphysboro and Robert Gene of Mulkeytown.

Mrs. Miller was a retired employee of the Brown Shoe Co., and had also worked as a nurse at the Masonic Home in Sullivan.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Helping Hands Class, president of the Rebekkah Lodge and past noble of the Grands Club.

Mrs. Miller died at the age of 75 in Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
