Ruby Leonora Bullar, 80, of 1827 Hardy St., Murphysboro, died at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 1982, in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.

Mrs. Bullar was a member of the United Methodist Church in Murphysboro and the Women’s Bible class and the Mary Martha class of the church. She was also a member of the Order of White Shrine, Murphysboro Senior Citizens, and the Jackson County Home Extension Triad Unit.

She was born Sept. 15, 1901, in Murphysboro, to William G. and Sarah Willis Hart.

She married John Cochran, who died Dec. 4, 1966. She later married Chris Albert Bullar Nov. 6, 1971. He died Oct. 9, 1973.

Survivors include two sons. Myron L. Cochran of Urbana and Robert E. Cochran of Pickens, S.C..; two daughters, Mary Kelsey of Murphysboro and Doris Kelsey of Pickens; one brother, Floyd Hart of Murphysboro; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bullar was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister and five brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
