Rev Chester Roscoe "Chet" Seaney, age 92, was born on May 19, 1920 in Flat Rock, Illinois and passed away on February 25, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was a US Army Air Corps veteran serving in World War II. After that he was a school teacher, and retired minister for the Church of the Nazarene. In his later years, he served in the maintenance department of Trevecca Nazarene University. He was a man of great Christian faith, gentleness, and loved by all.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years; a son; a married daughter; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00pm and again on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00am at the church.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00am at Concord Community Church of the Nazarene, 9826 Concord Road, Brentwood, by Pastor Thomas Todd.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Family & friends will serve as Pallbearers. Arrangements are by WOODBINE FUNERAL HOME, HICKORY CHAPEL.
