Betty was born in Honey Creek Township in Crawford County, IL December 27, 1928, the daughter of Chester and Rhoda Pinkstaff Seaney.
She married Hugh McCleave August 31, 1950 and he preceded her in death August 5, 1999.
Betty was employed at Texaco, Inc. as the First Aid Room nurse in Lawrenceville, iL from 1961-1968.
She is survived by her children, Terry McCleave, Cindy Wooten, Angie Whittington, Randy McCleave, Nancy Deeter, and Lynn McCleave; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Chet Seanry; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Bill, Paul, and Philip Seaney; and her sister, Raeburn Alice Seaney.
Funeral services were held at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Flat Rock, IL with burial in Jones Cemetery.
