DALLAS ~ Mr. Webb Hunter Lineberger Sr., 98, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at Hardin Community Baptist Church with Rev. Fain Farmer and Rev. Mark Hovis officiating. His body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Hardin Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lineberger was born on Aug. 28, 1914 in Richmond County, N.C. and was the son of the late James R. and Addie Clippard Lineberger. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Friday Lineberger; two sons, Alec Lineberger and Webb Lineberger Jr.; one daughter, Becky Lineberger Sadler; 10 brothers and sisters; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Mr. Lineberger was retired after 40 years as a section boss with Hardin Manufacturing Company.
He is survived by his son of Dallas: two daughters of Dallas and Vale; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Lineberger family.
