A funeral mass for Roger O. O'Gorman, 73, of Stinnett, were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Feb. 8, at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Monsignor Norbert Kuehler, pastor, officiating.
Rosary was at 7:00 p.m., Sunday Feb 7, in Ed Brown and Sons Memorial Chapel in Stinnett.
Graveside services were at 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, in Shamrock with the Rev. Phil Lindley, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, officiating.
Mr. O'Gorman died Thursday, Feb 4, 1988.
Born at Greeley, Neb., Mr. O'Gorman had been a resident of the Stinnett area since 1943. He was a retired oil field pumper for Nabob Oil & Gas Co. and also a retired Hutchinson County employee. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three brothers: Ambrose O'Gorman of Grand Prairie; Bernard O'Gorman and Dick O'Gorman, both of Stinnett; and six sisters: Loretta Addison of Borger, Merle Clarkson of Albuquerque, N.M., Rosemary Gonzales of Hawthorne, Calif.; Bobbye Crowley of Lubbock, Angela Monk and Betty Christian, both of Stinnett.
