Nov. 10, 1872 of Membraneous croup, age 5 son of Asa and Hellen at Pegtown, Lenawee, Michigan is one possible occupant of this grave. Pegtown is another name for Tiffin Mills which was located adjacent to Medina Village on Tiffin River or Bean Creek. Earlier in that same year, Feb. 28, 1872, the same family was living in nearby Dover when they also lost a 9 year old daughter Eliza A. to scarlet fever. (FamilySearch.org, Michigan Deaths 1867-1897)
