She was born to Loyd and Hattie McCoy Mounce , on January 16, 1935, in Locus Grove, Oklahoma. She was an RN, an elder care provider, as well as a homemaker. Louise attended First Baptist Church, and enjoyed hauling race horses, traveling, fishing, and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, J. T., R. C., and Maynard Mounce, and her sister, Opal Walker.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Celia Montgomery of De Queen, Two grandchildren, Trevor Montgomery and Tara Montgomery both of De Queen, two brothers, Bill Mounce of Oklahoma, and Bob Mounce of Florida, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Louise Montgomery will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Ross officiating.
