Phyllis Jean Ault, 48, of rural Home, died Sunday (May 2, 1982) at her home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 6, at the Freese Funeral Home, Sidney, with the Rev. William Hall officiating. Burial will be in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Homer. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ault was born June 30, 1933 at Sidney, a daughter of Alfred and Ura McElwee Bange. She married Raymond H. Ault June 23, 1975, in Urbana. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, of Homer; four sons, Gary Tibbetts of Seekonk, Mass., Steve Tibbetts, St. Augustine, Fla., David Tibbets of Homer, and Danny Ault, at home; one daughter, Deborah Sills of North Newportland, Maine; two grandchildren; two brothers, Virgil Bange, Ridge Farm, and Ronald Bange of Homer; one sister, Thelma Lammers of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister. She was a member of the Homer Church of Christ. She was formerly employed in the Champaign County Nursing Home.
