Was killed in a RR accident on the ILL Central RR in Taswell, IL. The freight train ran an open switch and was derailed. The engineer & brakeman jumped clear of the cab but Johney remained inside the cab. He was crushed about the head and chest. He was married to Nannie S. Alcorn
