Amanda enjoyed going to church and playing the church piano. At one time she owned and operated Amanda's Friendly Cafe on HW 9/10 in downtown Perryville in the 50's. Three of her daughters, Johnnie Bailey, Dimple Taylor & Maxine Tindell worked for her. She was married to the late Bertramn Fleet Wallace before marring Roe Hendrix (deceased)
