Evelyn Mae Loggins 84, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Feburary 19, 2013. Evelyn was born April 18, 1928 in Riverton, Ks. She graduated from Riverton High School in 1946. A daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Price. Also preceded in death by sisters Freda Price, Stella Youngblood, Roselyn Sechler, Ina Price and brothers Lee Price, Carl Price, Dale Price and Roy Price.
She married Jake Loggins in 1948 in Joplin, Mo. They moved to Tulsa, Ok. in 1956, where she resided until 2007, she then moved to Broken Arrow, Ok. They lived very busy lives in the commercial construction business.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982. She loved being a homemaker and did it very well. She was a very kind and loving mother of two, daughter Linda Smith and husband Duane of Broken Arrow. Ok. Son Larry Loggins of Tulsa.Ok. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.
Grandsons, Dr. Christopher Smith and wife Pamala of Owasso, Ok.
Jeremy Smith and wife Sharice and their children Kelsey and Trent Smith of Broken Arrow. Ok. Grandson Steven Loggins, Tulsa, Ok.
Granddaughters Lcpl. Jessica Loggins Henderson and husband Andy of San Deigo, Ca.
Rachel Loggins of Tulsa, Ok.
Also survived by one loving brother Manford Price of Wichita, Ks. His son Rev. Micheal Price and wife Karis of Eureka Springs, Ar. and their childrens families of Wichita, Ks.
Nephews David Price and wife Barbara of St Joseph, Mo.
Eddie Price and wife Kathy of Howard, Ks.
Neices Patricia Frakes and husband Ed, Amber Perkins of Oklahoma city, Ok
Numerous cousins including Mary Lou Cox and Christopher McCurley of Chickasha, Ok.
She treasured her friends in her life , she had one life long friend that was so special
to her, Virginia Whitchurch formerly of Galena, Ks
She leaves her loving memories to all of us, to be cherished. We have no doubt she loved us all very much. Her prayers meant everything to us all. She loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She will be greatly missed. Her cheerful, kind and wise advise was always greatly appreciated. She was always truthful with us all. She will be in our hearts forever. Until we reunite in Heaven. One of her favorite scriptures was Psalms 91.
Her service was held Feburary 25 at Floral Haven funeral home in Broken Arrow, Ok. Interment Floral Haven cemetary.
