Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 8, 1973, for Myrtle Susan Wagster Blagg. The Rev. Roy Handley conducted the 2:30 p.m. service in the Chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele.

Born November 23, 1904, Mrs. Blagg died May 5, 1973 at the Delta Hospital in Sikeston. She had been in a nursing home and previously lived in Steele.

She leaves four daughters, Irene Syrotynsky of Rexford, N. Y., Virginia Bockerich of Senora, Calif., Joy Blagg of Steele, Dorothy Christian of Farberg, Calif.; three sons, Floyd Blagg of Dereign, Ill., George Blagg of Farmington, Mo., and Leon Blagg of Lake Wells, Fla.; four brothers, Jack Wagster of Newbern, Tenn., Robert Wagster of Trenton, Tenn., Toy Wagster of Newbern, and Luther Wagster of Trenton; one sister, Eula Green of Trenton; and 20 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Howard Teeter, Bobby Martin, Jim Cole, Dewitt Shaw, Johnny Williamson, and James Christian.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele in charge of arrangements.
