Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine M. White, 78 years of age, were held Sunday, July 9 at 3 p.m. from the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home with the Rev. J. A. McDowell in charge. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Mrs. White, daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Mary Noel Lyon, was born in Casey County July 14, 1872. She died at her home in South Campbellsville Friday, July 7 at 7 p.m. She had been in ill health for the past year. She professed faith in Christ at an early age in life and was a member of the Campbellsville Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Nathaniel White some 35 years ago; he preceded her in death 13 years ago. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Irvine Romine of Detroit, Michigan, and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Bruce Wilson, George Newcomb, Alva Bell, Lige Pierce, Leonard Barnes, and James Grammer.
