Funeral services for Mealie M Breshears, 67, who died Monday Sept. 15, at her home in Cross Timbers, following a long illness, were held the following Wednesday afternoon in the New Home Baptist church with Rev. Sherman Bybee officiating. Burial was in New Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Breshears was a native resident of Hickory County and had spent most of her life in the Cross Timbers community.
Surviving are her husband, Everett Breshears, a son, Dean Breshears, of Independence; two daughters, Faye Admire, Marshall and Chloia Stevens, Cross Timbers; a stepson, Odie Breshears, and a stepdaughter, Thelma Thomas, both of Kansas City; a brother, Bea Mullins of Illinois; three sisters, Cora Greathouse and Beulah Bryant, Kansas City, and Opal foster, Linneus, MO; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
